Burn baby burn. This was created by the designers of World of Goo and Henry Hatsworth in his Puzzling Adventure and but unlike these wonderful little games, this is bit too pointless and minimalist in its gameplay for its own good. It all sounds a bit strange and abstract when described on paper and although there is clearly a message to the game, in practice it doesn't make for entertainment. The main goal of the game is to throw items into your newly acquired Little Inferno Entertainment Fireplace and to watch them burn. These objects include things like flaming logs, screaming robots, credit cards, exploding fish and unstable galaxies. When you burn things, you get credits which allow you to purchase new items and then the burning fun continues. That pretty much is it for the gameplay, but there is a strangely heartfelt story which unfolds as you progress and which does actually give this some value. However, if you're actually after a game with things to actually do, then this is not going to be of much interest to you. The makers have clearly spent a lot of time on this, and in terms of visuals, Little Inferno really is quite impressive, with its lovely character designs, which have a lot of personality. The story too is quite intriguing while there is also clearly a message to the game about modern gaming, consumerism and such things, which is all very admirable but what they forgot to do was add any gameplay. Watching things burn really isn't that interesting so unless you do enjoy this sort of thing, then skip this.
