Resident Evil 3: Nemesis

Adventure 1999 Windows Capcom Horror 3D action adventure

Third person horror survival game with zombies

Nemesis ups the ante substantially in terms of graphics. Yes, Resident Evil series was pretty well realized from the beginning, but within this game both the graphics as well as the interaction are far more elaborate and more interesting than in the past games. Therefore, you are never far away from being scared, awed or never away from being part of a battle with the monsters that want to get you. The game's story is based on the invasion of zombies, but there is more to the story than meets the eye. The Umbrella corporation will show more if its scheming in this game, so, especially if you tried the later games in the series, pay attention to the sparse dialogues. Some interesting events are being foreshadowed in this game, making it very important in the series. Graphically, the turn of the century 99 when the game was released shows itself: the environments are more detailed than the ones in the first and second game and furthermore, the zombies are very interesting and relatively diverse. This is the begging of the mature era of zombie horde invasions, so, if you like the premise, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis is really a great contender.

Are you afraid of zombies?

The first Resident Evil was scary, I have to admint, however Resident Evil 3 was the very first RE game that I've played and still to this day I still don't have the courage to play it. It presents nice looking graphics, good voice acting, good control, a good zombie genre story and interesting monsters to fight. It may be a sequel, however the first half of the game takes place 24 hours before the events in Resident Evil 2, while the other half takes place two months after. You play as Jill Valentine and the only thing you need to do is get out of Racoon City, avoiding zombies. On the way, you meet up with other characters, but the one that made me wanna away from is Nemesis, a bio-organic weapon. The controls are mostly the same like in the previous two games. The graphics are quite good, the inventory screen is alright and the voice acting and sound effects in the game are pleasant to heard. All in all, if you're a fan of survival horror games, play the game! If you're a fan of run-away-from-zombies games, play the game! If you're a gamer that's wants to experience a game that is all about survival against of horde of zombies, download and play it!
