Let's get fragging!. If you remember playing classic multi-player shooters like GoldenEye on one TV with your mates and recall the temptation to look at your opponents' screens in order to find out where they were, then this game is for you. It's a competitive multi-player shooter which makes for a perfect party game as it doesn't take itself too seriously and actively encourages players to cheat by checking out their friends' screens. There's no story here, simply a bunch of maps, some crazy weapons, a handful of game modes to choose from, and a lot of shooting. What makes this one different from things like Unreal Tournament is that the players here are completely invisible, so your only way to find your enemies is to look at their screens. It's a simple addition but one which turns what could have been a stale addition to the genre into a truly crazy and riotous experience. The weapons available are quite bonkers and should enter gaming's Weapons Hall of Fame alongside Worms' classics. Stalwarts like the blunderbuss and grenade launcher sit alongside the hobby horse, a car engine which fires bouncing plasma bombs and an explosive teddy bear. The modes on offer here also include favorites like Deathmatch but more unusual variants like Murder Mystery also pop up, which challenges you to kill a specific enemy with a specific weapon. Although Screencheat is far from a a truly polished experience, for the most part it simply is jolly good fun. It's not for competitive shooter fans but if you're just looking for a good time, it fits the bill.
