Cartoon adventure starring the musketeers. Touche: Adventures of The Fifth Musketeer is an action and adventure game focused on the musketeers, that we've all become accustomed too, mainly through Alexandre Dumas stories and novels and the ripples that these productions have sent through the waves of pop culture. At any rate, what happens is that you, the player find yourself immersed in this pretty cool adventure that is high on humor, also pretty high in classic point and click tropes and also, for all intents and purposes, a great adventure for those that love a simple, cartoony adventure. Nope, this is not a serious retelling of Dumas' stories, this is just a cool, sweet adventure game that offers you lots of puzzles, lots of inane and yet cool dialogue and, overall, a pretty fantastic and absorbing journey. Music and sounds are great too, specifically those of combat and overall, the entire game is pretty satisfying. Download also Legendo's The Three Musketeers, which is also high on musketeers, but not as cartony, yet still highly playable
Lovable and fun. So, there were the Three Musketeers. No, four! Five? This game, which is very loosely based on Dumas' very famous novels, introduces us to Geoffroi le Brun, the fifth Musketeer as he tries to prove his worth to the French Regiment. On his travels, he hires Henri, a crook who poses as a beggar, as his manservant. Thus, we follow the comical duo all across France in a series of fun and humorous adventures to deliver the will of the murdered Compte d'Itee to Paris. The game definitely reminds me a lot of LucasArts games like Monkey Island in the way of the gameplay, sense of humor and beautiful graphics that look like they've jumped out of a cartoon. The characters are all very interesting and funny, and the puzzles are also very interesting and challenging, while the plot makes you hang around a bit more to sew how it all turned out. Like Discworld, the game is full of witty comments, humorous situations and lovable characters that are sure to make you fall in love with it. Fantastic work!
